What are Dictionary Skills Resource Packs?Oxford's easy-to-use downloadable resources are available now to help you teach and learn essential dictionary skills. These resources are specially designed to help learners get the most from their dictionaries. They are ideal for teachers, lecturers, and students in French, German, or Spanish at senior school or university level, and can be used to deliver a ready-made lecture on dictionary skills, or incorporated over a series of lectures or self-study course.
Our current teaching resources include lesson plans and worksheets for teachers and students of French and Spanish at two age levels - 11-14 and 14-16. They can be used in many ways: as supplementary resources (extension work) for students, as part of exam preparation, or for teachers who need material for a substitute or cover lesson. They also work as stand-alone lessons and include exercises on Dictionary Skills.
There are two lesson plans for teachers, and two worksheets for students for each age group.
